Allegedly attacked a flight attendant and bit another

Her appearance came less than a week after a disturbing incident aboard a Delta flight from Los Angeles to New York on Sunday, Oct. 11.

She was arrested after the plane landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport. According to the New York Port Authority, two flight attendants were injured, and Blair was taken to hospital for medical evaluation. The FBI is investigating.

An eyewitness also recorded a clip allegedly showing Blair screaming as she was escorted off the plane.

Blair missed doses of her MS meds: Lawyer

Blair’s lawyer has argued that the alleged assault was not intentional, claiming she was confused after missing doses of her multiple sclerosis medication.

The actress announced in 2018 that she had been diagnosed with multiple sclerosis (MS), a condition that damages the central nervous system and can cause muscle weakness, vision problems and memory issues. Blair said she had been in remission since 2021.

She pleaded not guilty to two counts of second-degree assault during a court hearing Monday, Oct. 12, per Us Weekly. She was released from police custody on bond.

This isn’t the first time Blair has made headlines over an incident aboard a plane. In 2016, she experienced what was described as a “total psychotic blackout” during a Delta flight from Cancun, Mexico, to Los Angeles.

‘There is much more to this story than has been reported’

At the time, witnesses said she was taken off the plane on a stretcher after reportedly becoming agitated and making claims that a man was abusing her.

Blair broke her silence about the latest incident Friday, Oct. 16, through a statement from her representative to PEOPLE.

“There is much more to this story than has been reported, and we ask to consider the entirety of the facts before rushing to judgment, whether in the courtroom or in the court of public opinion,” the statement read.

For now, the legal case remains unresolved, and the allegations have yet to be tested in court.

Blair’s next hearing is scheduled for Jan. 19, 2027.
