Letters to the Editor, Sept. 20, 2026
REMEMBER WHERE YOU WERE Re “What CBC Journalist Standards’ boss doesn’t know about 9/11” Brad Hunter, Sept. 11): Like everyone from that day, I know exactly, to the minute, where I was and what I was doing when the first plane hit the Twin Towers. It was a stunning day, sunshine spilling through the trees and onto the roads. I was just about home from dropping my kids at school when I heard about the second plane, leaving no doubt in anyone’s mind it was a calculated terror attack. Terror, both large and small, had crossed everyone’s doorstep and border. We must never forget that in a free country, if you attack one of us, you attack all of us. Canada and the U.S. must restore our relationship. This day says it stronger than any other.
